With a population of almost 90,000, Sherwood Park is one of the fastest-growing suburban destinations in Alberta. Kalen Construction and Cohos Evamy Integratedesign began construction in June 2009 and the Centre opened to the public on January 4th, 2011. The location just off Baseline Road with 280 parking stalls and access for disabled client transit vehicles will provide easy access to the services.
Synergy Wellness Centre was conceptualized by Dr. Wing Lim, a local family physician and Alberta Centennial Medal Recipient along with his partner local businessman, Mr. Ron Mackie. In a departure from traditional truncated heath care delivery, Synergy Wellness Centre will focus on integrated preventative and holistic care. Anchored by a 16,450 square-foot multi-specialty medical clinic, over 20 health and wellness related disciplines will work cooperatively to treat the whole person, physicallly, mentally and emotionally, for a more complete picture of health. The client-friendly and welcoming facility and its network of services is designed to become the premiere destination for total wellness.
